Now that I see your picture, I did see you at Mission Bech Friday for the cleanup. We picked up some trash and then around 5:30 we were excited to get the night started and so we did not hang around. Lots of people were just there to see Stefan and it did not feel right.

Did not make it to the Ants TG either day, my only regret about the weekend, but I wanted to thank you again for helping me plan what turned out to be a great weekend.

Let me know if you are ever headed this way (Alpine, Deer Creek?).

    Take Care
    Chris

bnp = blanks and postage. basically you send blank cd's or DVD's and enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Make sure to use stamps, metering it will not work. Then you write a little note reminding the person of what show you want. They burn it for you and then put it back in the self-addressed stamped envelope that you enclosed when sending. Easy as that. It might be easier to understand at www.mcnichol.com/bnp

That is how I got my start to collecting tapes back in the day, then cd's and now mostly DVD's. You have to have something to trade and that was how I got my trade bait, so to speak.

Now I try to get everything through torrents but I still have to trade for some DMB DVD's just to fill holes in my collection. And to share with the community.

Come join us in the DMB DVD Collectors Forum over on TTD @

    Peace, Adam

Both these places you have to join but there is no cost for dreamingtree or thetradersden. Check 'em out.

I have a copy but you do know about the great website: www.dreamingtree.org

I sure hope someone has turned you on to that by now. If not, then you should go over there and join. You can get a copy of all 3 shows done with the dead and also a copy of that killer show that you went to as well. I can also do a bnp for you if you don't want to mess with downloading shows. I fell it is a necessary thing, downloading shows, in the DMB community.

As well, I started a User Group over at www.thetradersden.org that is called Drive In Drive out and it is geared toward collecting DMB DVD's. We have over 60 different DMB shows on DVD for your viewing pleasure. You do have to download them, then convert them to DVD, but that is all pretty easy. You can find a link to the site by going to one of my posts on here and I have it linked through my signature. Keep in touch and long live the DMB!!

OMG what a killer show you got to see. Is it out there somewhere recorded?? I would LOVE to have it!
Thats cool you at least got to see the late great Jerry. Yeah I was really lucky with the setlist! I almost died when Stay or Leave was being played. And the stone! And Halloween for the encore! PRICELESS!

I never did get the chance to meet Jerry, though I tried a few times, lol. That was my first DMB show, them opening for the Dead in Las Vegas. What a great first show, although I really like the first show you got on 6/16, sweet setlist. ttyl

Thats awesome! Gotta love the Dead. I would have loved to been there in '95 when DMB opened up for the Dead! My life would be complete..well that is if I got to meet both Jerry and Dave!

Wonderful band and I miss them. It was too bad that the Dead's dates out here on the west coast were at the same time as the DMB Vegas shows. I had to make a decision and DMB won. I admire that you are willing to post new threads and i like what they were about, especially the "first show" thread you started. Welcome to Ants, it's a nice place to hang out...ttyl
