What program do you use to download music?
 

Just curious considering the excess of programs. I recently found a cool one called Ares, you can download it at www.softgap.com if anyone is interested.

and I BARELY use it, seriously. I dont really like downloading too much.

acquisition and limewire.

but i MIGHT use them once every couple months. dont really download music that much.

just plane ole Kazaa, but I don't really download music, as much as I do other stuff, like vids and stuff

i used to use kazaa...but i haven't used it in about two months. the only thing i download now is stuff from here.

essentially they are hacks to apples daap protocol which allows the direct downloading of music from mac users itunes playlists (assuming they are sharing said playlists to the internet at large)

and i download SHN's from the antsmarching shn server and the ftp server of a friend (using CuteFTP)

I don't download music at all. from here or anywhere else...

i use WinMx cus kazaa really sucks

I use Kazza lite mostly for videos and movies...

sometimes i download complete albums to hear them.. if i like i buy.. otherwise i delete

Hey guys,

I'm bringing that out of the basement cause I'm stuck in a bit of a quandry...

My sis-in-law is trying to use Limewire to d'load music for a "class"...so can d'load just fine, but can't bring the music out of the program to burn it onto a disc...anybody else encountering this? Any way to get around it? I'm still searching for an answer, but having no luck at finding a solution...

Any help would be appriacted...

does it not download the files to a directory?

they're on your HD somewhere:

start-->search--> type this in *.mp3

I just use sharingthegroove and not really a program but the Internet Live Music Archive. And I recently saw a kid/guy named Jamie Cullum on Conan and wanted to download some of his live stuff. The only thing at the groove is old and not up anymore. So any ideas where I could get some of this without dling one of these programs? Thanks
