Happy 4/20.

Today so far:. 2 Brownies with proper cannabutter, three large bowls of whatever the fuck my plug put in the bag...neon green.

On Deck:. XL Blunt of above, then combining all my carts oil into one with the pen, after two or three more brownies.

Unusually peaceful and quiet workplace today. Usually by now Security has been called two or three times.

Generally (still) a daily smoker, but can't celebrate this year. My wife and I are off the goods for about another 4 weeks (and have been for the past 2 months). It's all to prep for fertility treatments so once I give the doc my specimen I can jump back in with 2 feet. My wife, not so much.

I had three bowls before work. I'm usually up most mornings by 4:00 a.m.

At my former job I was really playing a dangerous game with pens. Vape pens. At least that's what I made everyone believe and I'm pretty sure the other three people who had the same apparatus were all on board. For about 3 weeks I was high all the time at work. Since my work is largely project based now, I smok about once every 2 or 3 weeks for a little bit. Usually will just earmark a weekend at the end of a project where I'm going fishing or hiking or have absolutely nothing to do and go through a stash. I find those weekends are getting few and far between now.

The last few times I have tried to take a bong rip I have literally nearly died. And by that I mean I have such a bad coughing fit last thing about 3 to 5 minutes on average Non-Stop that at one time someone legitimately started calling an ambulance for me. Since I've learned to make edibles, I can honestly say as of the last few months that is the main way I consume. Between years of cigarettes, vaping, cigars, and flower, my lungs have had enough.

So glad it's legal in New York now. I just wish wherever it was legal they would just sell it at convenience stores instead of making people go to a dispensary. I mean the gas stations down here already sell pre rolls of CBD and even CBD bud. I understand some of the justifications for having a dispensary but no state has ever just tried what I proposed. I would be interested in seeing if some of their justifications hold up. All I'm saying is it would be nice to get off work on a Friday and stop by the gas station and pick up a couple of grams for a good night.

Fertility. I was baked. Not really sure how we got off on that discussion. I was talking about a couple that was trying to conceive and after several times in America they went to Prague and it worked the first time. People go to Europe and overseas from America for things like that and sex changes. It's like 10 to 15 grand a pop. Far more efficient and cheap than america.

I bought from a dispensary for the second time in my life. The taxes were ridiculous but that's Massachusetts for you. Sales tax, special taxes, etc. Tab was like 160, taxes out the door were like an additional $70. Black market isn't going anywhere. Could have gotten the same thing for far less than 160 even. It was a cool experience but not what I was expecting after my first trip. From the moment I set foot on property after placing pre-order I was railroaded and the next thing you know I'm pulled over on the side of the road a mile down the road making sure I have everything. It was that quick. Literally police in the parking lot directing traffic. All out of state tags. My first trip was a entirely different experience. Hardly any customers. Everyone had time to explain to me or answer my questions. Had to pre-order this online and select a Time slot. They made it abundantly clear that if you were not there within a 15 minute time window you would have to rebook. I thought, great, I'll get some time to have people answer questions that are knowledgeable. Nope. If you've ever seen the Seinfeld soup Nazi episode this is what it is like. No Cannabis for YOU.

I don't touch the stuff until recently but I have to say taking half an edible before bedtime does make me sleep better and takes away anxiety.

I recommend a bubbler for the days you don't want the theatrics of a bong or when you just want something a little easer to keep in your hands. Water pipes (bubblers and bongs) changed my lift when I first started using them.

Though I did recently smoke out of a dry bowl with some friends and it took me back.
