Ants Podcast 87: Checkin Out, Boyd?
 
On the eve of Dave Matthews Band's performance the night before the Super Bowl, violinist Boyd Tinsley took to Twitter to announce that he will be stepping away from the band for a break. Joe's in Minneapolis for the show (of course), so he and Matt jump on an emergency Skype call to talk this over and try to analyze what this means for Boyd, and the band as a whole, going forward. You won't want to miss this one.

good pod boys. agree with you guys that the optics for this situation aren't good. I said in the other thread, the whole thing just seems ominous with how it shook out.

Cancel this tour for the love of God. Media/fanbase will put the new album advertising on the back burner and rightfully so. This is a huge event for the band and it's amazing how so many people are saying so and so can fill in. This is nonsense.

Agree! They need to cancel and figure things out. Or just do a D&T tour
