Concur, definitely solid but quite as great as what I was expecting based on the hype. Ending did kill though, and definitely best KDF by far.

To anyone that was there last night, did you notice if it was relatively easy to find tickets in the lot? I still don't have one yet and would prefer to see what I could do at the venue, but it's a 3 and a half hour drive...

Easy peasy. I grabbed 2 under hood for $50 each.

Side note: it's always easy to find tix on lot.

I only need one so I wasn't thinking it'd be bad, but I heard last year in Atlanta it was tough to find tickets, so I definitely wanted to check. Thanks!

    Holy crap.

Last night was amazing. I had a pit ticket, walked into the venue at 6:45 and went right up and got railed! Met this wonderful couple from South Carolina. Talked them the whole time. She had lived in Egypt for a while and the guy was originally from England. Very interesting couple. Gonna meet up with them to do tonight's show in the lawn.

But that show. This was only my second time seeing Phish so I have no true experiences of a bad or good show, but wow, wow, wow. The band looked like they were having so much fun on stage. Very awesome to see Trey give Mike and Page a reach around during Martian Monster. Also, very cool seeing Fishman jump on bass while Trey played drums.

That second set was out of this world. I flipped when they did MM. I told the couple my most wanted song was anything from the Halloween shows. I'm hoping for a Birds or Dogs tonight or tomorrow.

The first set was a ton of fun. The false start in Mike's was great. Trey mentioned playing with the tempo then they come out doing a really slow, almost reggae, intro into Mike's. It was very groovy. But that whole set was just a blast. I kept thinking a lot of those songs were second set material so I knew the second set would be amazing.

The encore was awesome. I love Farmhouse & Character Zero. Just really great songs and I'm glad they played some "songs" after jamming so much.

Overall, incredible experience being on the rail last night. I can't get over how much fun it was. The fans were awesome. No real problem holding down a rail spot the entire show, even when I had to use the restroom. Way different than a DMB crowd.

That said, DMB shows has me nervous. Thinking about how great that show was, I know if it was N2 of a DMB show after a N1 like that tonight would be absolute garbage. Hoping Phish is completely different.

Also, I think they greatly undersold the pit. It was not packed by any means. Tons of space off to the sides for the pit to be sold out. They could have easily sold another 200 tickets for the pit.

The lawn was probably only about 3/4 full. I expect that to be different tonight tho

I've only been to one other Phish show too, but from my experience, the crowd is night and day different at a Phish show. Infinitely more inclusive and easygoing. That's why I'm not real worried about going solo tonight, even without a ticket. I think tonight will be awesome. Still a lot of great stuff yet to be pulled out.

Hardest tix to find was Sat Dicks last year and if I really wanted it, I'd have done it. There are tix trees at most spots.

Finishing up last night's show now. Best of tour so far to my ears by far. Can't wait for tonight! Getting ready to head out of here in an hour or so. Not sure where I'm sitting yet, going to try to get into the pavilion or pit, but might end up with lawn. If anyone's got a lawn party and doesn't mind a straggler, shoot me a PM and I'll send you my number. It'd be fun to hang with some Phishy Ants. And if anyone has a line on a ticket, by all means, shoot me a PM.

Big gravel lots are free if you get here early enough. Last night was the easiest I've gotten in and out of Lakewood ever. It was perfect.

Jealous of that Martian Monster, but glad you got what you wanted! Looks like a hell of a 2nd show! Will definitely be giving this a listen.

I think that's almost always the case. Bend was a crazy sight though, never seen so many people desperate for a ticket. Instead of a finger, people were holding $100 in the air, and only some of them had luck. Lots of people shut out and partying outside the gates. I think Nashville is going to be a very tough ticket to pull in the lot as well.

We may see a shift since Phish is playing so well and growing on so many people. Not much happening in the rest of the jam band scene, so there's a need.

They filled up super fast last night. I got there around 5:15ish and was on one of the last 4 rows. Probably gonna make it out there earlier to try to avoid some of that tonight.

It was an amazing show. I really recommend listening to last night's show if you can. I was blown away watching Trey's fingers. It was like his fingers were butter and the guitar was a microwave. I was mystified.

Agreed on the KDF. I've only listened to it once so far, but Twist is my favorite on the first pass through.

Gonna hop on the couch tour tonight, hoping for a nice stream.
