Just busting your chops bro. Though I would be down for another beer swap, Trillium is just far enough from me where it would be tough to go up and back in one day.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't been in quite some time. I think I need to make a trip soon!

I know you're a North Shore guy, but if you ever find your way down near Scituate, check out Untold Brewing. Those guys are doing some good things. No Juice Bombs in the works, but they have a distinctive West Coast take on some East Coast things.

do you drive 15mph or something? i mean, it's not a QUICK ride but it can be done in a day.

maybe a swap sometime down the road, not at this point

It's 3+ hours away...driving 6 hours round trip just to stop at a brewery (albeit probably the best beer I've ever had) just does not fit in my schedule these days

    Reported!

Anyone not willing to drive 6 hours roundtrip for good beer should be banned from this thread.

Heading up to Boston in April for the marathon and can't wait to swing by Trillium. Went to Canton last April, looking forward to seeing Fort Point this year. Trying to figure out if I can swing by Tree House on the way to Boston too.

The Fort Point location is nothing special; a tiny retail shop that can comfortably fit 10-12 people. But their product is worth it

Enjoying Fiddlehead's Hodad tonight, (https://drive.google.com/open?id=14i...AWMzozIMRUwJrV) from Shelburne, VT. It's a chocolate vanilla toasted coconut porter, and probably my favorite porter of all time. It's one of their more interesting beers, though this is the first time they've canned it in four years (usually it's just growler pours).

    Good good stuff.

As of now, I'm still going. I have tickets to session 1 and 2.

My wife is due with our first child that day, so this might throw a curve ball into the trip.

    My hometown and current location.

There are some solid restaurants that typically have good draft selections if you're pressed for time. Here's two:

Coalhouse Pizza - huge menu, great pizza. Has a large, separate bar area along with tons of seating. They have 80-something taps. Usually carry a good amount of CT beers (Kent Falls, New England, Beer'd, etc) as well as others like Singlecut.

Cask - higher end dining, really good food. Haven't been in a while, but they typically have a good tap list, but not as expansive as Coalhouse. It's also downtown.

Ah, gotcha. There are two breweries right in Stamford, Half Full and Lock City. Depending on what day you go they may be closed. I prefer Lock City over Half Full but I've heard Half Full has improved dramatically since the last time I tried it (few years ago) so that may be worth checking out as well.

Other than that, the two places Mitch recommended are awesome- Coalhouse really is a great spot and only a few minutes' drive from downtown.

If you're in the mood to travel to Norwalk I'm much more familiar with the bars/restaurants there, tons of great places right in SoNo on Washington St. Has a better vibe than Stamford IMO but that might just me being biased toward my hometown
