I never once claimed that, look back at my posts please. I was talking about solely strategic military areas the IDF has fortifications in for national defense against countries who don't exactly love Israel. They have been burned how many times with attacks often from multiple nations - what is it; 1948, 1949, 1967, 1973, 1994, 2005, 2014 and 2021 - that is just off the top of my head? Like I said, IDF is not stupid and generally avoids making a mistake twice so of course they are guarding their borders against nations who refuse diplomatic relations with Israel simply because it is a Jewish nation and equally offensive is their proclivity for attacking Israel.

I'm not gonna dump all my emotional issues all over these boards even more than I have today but I'll say that the outcome of it was that I learned a lot about managing my emotions and I think those are lessons that I still carry to this day

But you said sheik jarrah should belong to Israelis before and 1967. I say fine be fair and have israel also return land it took.

The thing is that Shiek Jarrah belonged to Jews for ages prior to the 1948 attack when it was taken by Jordanian troops who t hen brought in palestinians to settle, then in 1967 when Israel whooped 7 countries that sneak attacked them and took their land back. They allowed the palestinian residents to stay there if the paid rent to the Jewish family who has held title to that land since 1870 - there is a bill of sale and land ownership record proving this. Recently some palestinians decided to stop paying rent, hence after a few years the owners filed for an eviction order and it languished until the Supreme Court finally took the case months back and ruled an eviction was warranted if the rent was not paid. Not really seeing the reason a bunch of lunatics would start lobbing rockets into heavily populated cities over a few eviction orders. That seems like an over-reaction to me.
