well, they have 2 number 1 goaltenders, and a team of stars that have great chemistry and know how to work together extremely well. i would say they are the NHL's version of the Pats this season.

Zetterberg, by the way, is amazing to watch.

i'm a wings fan and i don't know if i'd go that far, but they are playing out of this world this season. the lines have meshed perfectly, our young talent is absolutely stellar, and osgood and hasek have held it down. it still remains to be seen (as it does every year) how this improved team will adapt in the physical playoffs.

Not a chance...up until this past weekend they have been owned by the Blackhawks, and the Blackhawks are not as good.

There is no team that can say they had the Pats number.

No NHL team will ever have a 82-0 season, the Wings lead the league in goals forced and goals against and are on pace to tie the record for most wins in a season... of the few games they have lost, only 2 of them were by more than 1 goal, and both of those were 2 goal loses.

I'm not saying anyone needs to go 82-0 BUT in order to be on a level with the Pats you would at LEAST need to have a winning record against every team in the NHL...I don't think that will happen with the Blackhawks.

That's laughable. But I don't know what's more a outrageous statement, Toronto going seven games against Detroit, let alone actually being in it vs. Tie Domi beating Curtis Joseph.

In his defense it was posted several years ago, not that Tie Domi was ever capable of performing a task as complex as scoring a goal... he was better suited for simpler tasks like crush and smash, while refering to himself as Tonka... "Tonka Crush" "Tonka Smash"
