btw a detail about the Roy Halladay I didn't see anywhere... I know the plane had been very new, like only a couple weeks old, but that wasn't literally his first flight out in it, was it?

No, he had posted a handful of videos to Twitter of him mid flight. He even took a player from his son's baseball team for a ride.

I have to feel like the investigation turned up more than just giving some kids too much money. banned for life is ridiculous for that. I think he was taking sexual liberties with them or something crazy. no way he gets banned for life for doling out too much cash.

If the marlins get comparable offers from the giants and sox and Stanton needs to think about that for even a second DD should probably pull his offer off the table.

Yeah, I just think the Sox need a power hitter at his level so bad. JD Martinez is terrible value and I'm not all that concerned about Stanton's injury history, a lot of it was fluke things.
