The beginning of bayou on LT 14 sounds like a kazoo is playing along the horn section...

Just because it has to be said, I enjoyed MSG N2 more, but it was a very solid show.

I'd have been disappointed with no MSG responses. Fairly even in my book (I was at C'Ville, but not MSG). That was a very fine tour.

Fall 2010 was better than all of summer 2010. There were some really good shows that fall.

And if you thought it was incredible to watch the set unfold on 5/28/10, you can't imagine what the summer of 2003 was like. I'm pretty sure I checked the set lists every night that summer. Luckily I was at the two tour openers to watch those unfold before my eyes. I was even luckier to be at 6/23/03 and 6/24/03.

Does anyone know the time frame of when they make the DMBLive releases' individual tracks available to purchase? It seems most of the newer ones are still album only. Theres a couple releases in which I only really want to buy a few tracks from.

july 2010 is one of the best single month runs the band has ever had and the top shows from july can easily match, if not beat, the top shows from the fall.

Also, I still can't believe how much Justin Timberlake rocked that Concert for Charlottesville. It still floors me every now and then looking back at that performance.

Where do I go to look up all the opening acts that have ever opened up for DMB. The Almanac doesn’t look like they readily have that info immediately searchable. Unless I’m wrong.

you'd have to look by year. if you click on a year at the top, look to the far right and there is an "opening acts" column. it looks like all the "info" circles are for when there are either multiple openers, like at a festival, or, more common, when the set the opening act played is known. as far as i know, there is no general list of opening acts (although you can contact the almanac to suggest making a list)

was just thinking earlier today that Warehouse > Watchtower to open a show or be an encore would be amazing. dave starts watchtower as soon as he is done with the little pick and strum at the end of warehouse with fonz soloing over dave to start the song.

So this version of 41 is pretty dang good. Daves vocals are great and even Boyd's playing pretty good IMO, and the breakdown at the end is cool. But only one problem. A tim solo instead of a sax solo. I really hate that the sax solo is gone from this song. I don't even mind tim soloing sometimes on 41 but the majority of the time it should be a sax solo. And sometimes it should be both. Switch it up damn it.

The DMB merch team sucks. They just slap firedancers on everything and call it band merch. They could take a few notes from Phish's merch squad.

I wish we'd get official soundchecks to go along with the LT's. After listening to some via YouTube, I can't imagine what's out there as far as loose jams to warm up.

This ABI needs to be on a Warehouse disc someday. Dave's belting is incredible and it's before he started doing the awful screeching: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sghjoYel6ak

I would love to hear the band cover Sober by Tool. It's go that dark heavy sound. Fits right in with Don't Drink The Water, Bartender, Seek Up, Squirm.

I really like this ABI. Unfortunately with WH10.5 out, chances are this is not getting released any time soon.
