And to the other poster, I don't think Dave hates playing in Cincinnati at all. In fact, at this year's show, he commented on how much fun the band has had in Cincinnati in years past.

You need LT 13 then. Setlist looks moderate. The performance and mix are unreal.

Oh no I have it, I just didnt buy it. LT13 is pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.

I think this one has the potential to be excellent, on par with LT 3, LT 7, and LT 8. That setlist alone is worth the pre-order.

Ive said over and over again that management needs to come with something different, something rare, something worth buying in order to get my money anymore. Well, it took the fans to do it, but we finally got one that's worth paying for. Great to see after that hunk of shit that was LT15, too.

A little scared about the "Boyd sucked at this show/skree" comments, but that aside - on paper, this one is a flat-out WOW release for me.

Phenomenal setlist, start to finish, and best of all, lots of songs that are not on either LT 3 or 11. LT 11 had something like 7-8 repeats from LT3 but LT16 only has 4 songs in common with each of those previous releases by my quick count.

Literally the only thing I would change about this release, if I had the chance, would be to add Long Black Veil to the set.....but I'm not sure they ever played that one in 2000 without the Ladies.

We have been in dire need of Sweet Up and Down and another OSW with intro (only one released prior to this, I think - LT5), Typical and Jane are rare and always welcome, a unique guest on sax is present, early versions of Bartender and Grey Street.......#40 and Little Thing.......I could go on and on.

I love this choice.

about Boyd at this show, i hate to say it but he sounds awful. the Bartender violin intro sounds very far from the right note. the band takes a little longer than usual to start that song up b/c it sounds like they're waiting for Boyd to start with the right note, but he just keeps playing the wrong note. i also get this feeling from listening to the tape that Dave is kinda pissed at Boyd that night. he introduces the whole band but never mentions Boyd throughout the whole show. also, the Grey Street lyrics are very suggestive towards Dave being pissed at Boyd:

"Oh little Jimmy's been a bad boy again
he said never waltz this way
he beat that kid with the violin again
says, boy you better not play that around me
the boy said, yea
you could pound me into ground beef
but I'm going to sing it all night long
whether you like it or not"


on a better note, the playing of the other four is top-notch in this show. i think, with this release, they wanted to honor Roi with an older show and this is an incredible choice. every solo is absolutely excellent. especially since back then, the only other soloist on stage was Boyd and if Dave was pissed at him that night, it meant that Roi got A LOT of solos. it's gonna be an excellent release. especially if they do something about Boyd's Bartender intro

fixed. i really hope they fix Boyd's sound for this release. or at least cut out his Bartender intro.

He wasn't referring to Boyd in that song. It was something else. Don't ask how I know--I just know. I'm really looking forward to hearing this show. I've been waiting almost ten years to get my hands on 6-26-00. I should probably learn how to download since I'm sure I could have listened a long time ago. Oh well, September 8th will be here soon enough.

when you pre order they give the url to access the download when it's available, they also send an email as soon as it's ready to download, they are usually on point.
