Seems like they’re done doing cover songs at DMB concerts (except Watchtower presumably, and maybe the rare one off of Maker or something)

The played a shit load of covers in 2014 and 2015, but only 3 in 2016 (one being watchtower, another the maker)

So far, zero this year. That’s a good thing in my opinion.

    I can get behind this. Watchtower, Long Black Veil, and maybe The Maker, Waste, and Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away on occasion.

    They attempted Eyes of the World after Jerry died and personally I love their take, despite it being a little messy. Think they would destroy it now especially with Buddy.

    This and shorter jams so we can hear more songs per show. Multiple 10-15 min versions per song per show is unnecessary.

    But I’m easy...or at least I was until SpacToSpac. My expectations for most of the remaining shows are likely to be highly tempered.

    I saw the first performance of this w/ Dave & Friends. Nearly lost it. Did lose it when they did Hey Bulldog.

    Fully lost again when we saw Peter Gabriel a couple of years ago. Timeless voice that has lost almost no range. Not smoking or drinking in excess helps.
