You're all idiots. (EDIT: NOT ALL OF YOU!!! just the ones saying "4 hour jam" and so on and so forth) It would boil down to whatever DMB songs that Phish wanted to play (hahah WOW that sounds retarded.) DMB is playing what DMB wants to play. Phish played what Phish wanted to play, and it involved some songs that were older and didn't get much play more often than when DMB dusts off a classic.
Let me give this a shot. Remember, "->" is direct segue. > is more of an abstract fade, not much time in between songs but not necessarily directly related. Possibly it would be described to friends as "then they went into..."
Two Step ->
Ants Marching
Shotgun
JTR >
Recently (Boyd and Roi do the old intros in syncopated horn/violin voices rather than Dave doing vocals)
Lie In Our Graves (Dance Away outro and Recently vocal reprise)
You Never Know (something cool happens to make it a strong closer. use your imagination)
-set break-
Rhyme and Reason (Last Stop outro)
Where Are You Going (breakdown is elaborated on; Dave and Stefan alternate riffs in a freeform jam)
Sister (Dave solo)
Good Good Time (Carter on bass, Stefan on keys, Butch on percussion kit)
The Stone
The Idea Of You
#41 (extended piano solo) ->
Two Step Jam (Butch only) ->
#41 outro
Song That Jane Likes
---
Tripping Billies ->
Grey Street
This is completely off the cuff with minimal editing. But look how it leaves SO much on the table for the next night. And the night after that. And so on. This music has endless potential. It's a shame that the Too Much reprise of '04 and the LIOG reprise of last night are one-offs and that stuff like that doesn't happen more often... you'd sit if you weren't sure what was going to happen during WAYG. SOME of you would at least.
