Re: The NBA Thread

Jayson hit the rookie wall IMO. Really wish they used the DPE on a wing that can spot playoff minutes rather than Monroe

He probably has. I don’t think a rookie wall just makes you lose the ball in the paint without anyone touching it more often than you used to though. His finger is still bothering him I think. Probably contributes to his shooting decline too.

As for the wing I think they know they are getting Hayward back for limited minutes at some point. So it wasn’t worth trading for Evans. Starting to get that feeling.

I was there, and my buddy and I were commenting on Jaylen's minimal effort during warmups, like overtly half-assing everything. Needless to say, not much changed at tip-off.

Bill Simmons tweeted out a few days ago that the before and after finger injury stats are super telling. It's a clear demarcation point in his year.

What on God’s green earth is this All Star Game opening segment? I hope this gets absolutely destroyed on Twitter. One of the dumber things I’ve ever seen.

The craziest part of the story is that the women quoted said the locker room was the safest place. It was their refuge.

I have a hard time believing Cuban had no idea about any of this but I guess there's a small, tiny possibility that he just wanted to have fun with his team and ignored the business operations. Still though...

Also, thank god basketball is back tomorrow.
