not a bad loss for the Clippers. almost assuredly if they fall to 4th they can avoid Denver and the Lakers side of the bracket. Randle and Rose going one on one in the 4th was epic

That officiating on Luka toss is 2006 Finals bad. What the fuck has Luka done to deserve that kind of call? I get refs are tired of the bitching but that goes with being a ref. Players bitch. Coaches bitch. But that was a straight up planned decision to give him a flagrant 2 before the foul even happened. That ref should immediately be fired.

saw the Doncic play...i mean...it was premeditated so in the spirit of the rule it’s probably a flagrant 2. Guthrie is also the crew chief and he’s one of the good ones

if that counts as a technical foul point that’s a suspension too i believe

Doncic is a very emotional and immature guy at least on the court with the refs, i think that’s a bigger problem than the refereeing on him tbh. that said, Draymond Green doesn’t get enough techs

Lakers defense is really good but i’m a little worried about Phoenix shooting in general. there’s a lot of shots either they aren’t taking or are just clanking off the rim. this isn’t the most confident or the most knockdown group of shooters

and the center rotation just isn’t playoff material right now

again i really like the guard play though

FiveThirtyEight has New York and Atlanta tying at 40-32, New York has the tiebreak there


and they have Memphis/Golden State tying. the game on Sunday will likely determine the tiebreak (and perhaps the scoring title for those who care). Lakers/Golden State is in jeopardy!!

I assume the Knicks lose Tuesday. They'll win 2 out of 3 against SAS/BOS/CHA so it comes down to Miami losing a few more, they have the tiebreaker over NYK.
