Making an assumption that the pit will be roughly 450-500 people based on that seating chart. That’s a nice size.

I believe 500 limit was indicated somewhere, can't remember if it was WH or Evenko

Pretty sure Bier Markt a block away would serve your craft needs well and that's where I'm hoping to arrange a gathering as well.

Love that place. Phenomenal meat and cheese plates and a great selection of delicious beers.

I know that pit size vary from venue to venue, but does anyone have an idea of the average pit from the summer tours? I’ve been in the pit many times in Toronto, figure that’s around 1000-1200 ish?

And Bier Markts are great locations with lots of choices. Would make for a good place to hold a meet up. Lots of options for all.

I have been unsuccessful with pit the past few years but got confirmed this year for Montreal. I was wondering if the process was still the same (show up as early as you want before the show and you have to wait in line until the show starts). Radiohead this year had a system where you would show up as early as you want in the morning and then got a wristband designating your number in line at around 9 o’clock in the morning and then you were free to go about your day until the show started. Really hoping they changed the system to something like this. Anyone know about this?

Unless it's a venue policy, you get there when you get there and it's first co e first served on the rail.
I don't see anyone getting there much earlier than 5 based on experience

So just for giggles I went on the Evenko site. Outside of Pit and the Premier sections, you can buy 4 seats in a row in any section. Yikes. Next stop - Groupon.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place. Haven't posted much at all ever.
My friend just backed out on me for going to the Montreal show.
We were going to be coming from Barrie/Toronto area.
I can't get anyone else interested in going, so I am now faced with what to do with my 2 floor Row S seats.
If anyone wants to buy them for a discount, I'll take off $50.
I can meet/deliver anywhere from Barrie area to Toronto area.
Open to selling even just one seat and maybe I'll still go and offer to give a couple people a ride for some gas money. Thanks!

Stub Hub is a blood bath. I can't imagine they play Montreal anytime soon after this.

I am looking into setting up a pre show around 330ish near the venue if anyone is interested.

Will post details on DMB Montreal Facebook, and try to remember to here.

If I can get an idea in advance who's interested that would be great)

I was thinking organizing a get together at the 1909 tavern around that time. I think we could ask the promoter to put a DMB show on the giant screen. We would be 25 persons of my groupe. Let me know

A colleague and I were going to look into McKibbon's as well

I like the 1909 location. Can't get much closer

    How is it price wise?

Can they potentially accommodate 60+ people and no set menu.. And be ok if ppl Come and go throughout reservation period?

1909 told me they can't do Separate billing for a party over 20 (which is important for the group I think). Hopefully if it's before dinner that could change. Have you talked to them?

Scored pit through WH for Montreal. Plan to preshow at Bier Markt with some friends, anyone is welcome to join! It's perfectly set between the Best Western and Bell Centre!

That was the first place I checked. They can't accommodate more than 25 so I'm looking elsewhere. It's rare to get a show so I figure the bigger the crowd the better.

We wouldn’t necessarily have to sit as a group, right? I mean they can’t limit how many people stand in the bar...
