I thought that if this Health Care Bill was so great and wonderful for this country then you would have Democrats in arms runing to vote for it. I guess that means it's not too good of a bill! This bill, even since it has not even been written yet, will be the final nail in the coffin for this country. Putting us on the path to another government entitlement program that will cripple this economy. Just like all of the other programs started, this will be owned by the Dems.

A political revolution is what we need not violence!! If the citizens of this country would wake up and see what's being done to them by such a small group of people then real change would be achieved. Until then i believe nothing will change and the path of this great country will continue toward economic and social ruin.

How can you implement taxes on businesses and citizens and not thinki it will negatively affect the economy?? We should be cutting taxes and government spending to put this economy back on the right track, which is exactly the opposite this government is doing.

Oh, and about the bill, this is just the beginning of universal health care. It might seem so small and worthless now but within 10-15 years the government will be in control of healthcare.


There are so few politicians who aren't trying to line their pockets these days that it is very hard to find anyone who actually stands on principle and has substance.

While this could be a long term problem, I do not dispute, the only thing that matters is being able to pay your liabilities as they come due. And right now, we are in better shape in the present moment than any other country in the world. So to cry poverty is ridiculous.

that's my point, and nice to see you up so early. we can't "just" pay for a new government program. the money is not there. even if we were to cut old programs, increase our debt load, or raise taxes we still run budget deficits. we can't sustain that. financially speaking, i still don't believe we can afford it unless we get our budgets under control.
