actually that's a pretty good point, I had that in mind earlier today as well. What I also thought of, like I've already seen a ton of different little short videos on youtube talking about how different lighting elements can trick your brain into making you think something is the color is isn't really (or not even necessarily all color-based), but what really shook me here, usually with those things, EVERYONE sees it "wrong" in the same way. That's why this being so divided kind of threw me.

I haven't chimed in at all in here, but I read something today which I'm not sure has been posted that men are more likely to see it as black and blue because more men have a lower level of red/green pigment detection or something like that. I wish I could find the article but I can't. Also I'm team gold/white but don't really care that much.

I noticed this trend while talking to people today. Seemed like 80% of men saw blue black and 80% of women saw white gold.

My study also concluded the 100% of people don't know what they are talking about if they see black anywhere on that dress.

Count me in as someone who has seen both. Looked at the same picture from a different device in a different setting, and it looked white & gold. Back on the original device in original setting, now looks black & blue.

There’s no right answer. It just depends on what dots you’re paying attention to at the moment.

There are 4 blinking, alternating dots. Overall not much wow factor.

By default it looked like they move vertically up and down on each side.
