I do appreciate a good dick joke, but when the first 3 episodes are built on dick, cum and period jokes - it wears thin very quickly.

It's like a show about Morty without Rick. Morty fawning over Jessica and nothing else.

I may give episode 4 a shot, but I've chuckled maybe twice.

Episode 4 (Sleepover) is one of my favorites of the series so I'd give it a go. But yeah maybe just isn't for you. I can't stand Rick and Morty

edit: S1 E6 is probably my favorite of the entire series.

Love both shows. Rick & Morty is definitely better.

I mean if you dont like crude humor youre probably not gonna like big mouth. I love all the low level humor in R&M too, its like a juxtaposition from all the subtle stuff you have to listen closely to pick up on.

the second half of S1 of Big Mouth is what really sold me on the show. Ep 6 "pillow talk" is one of my favorites of the series so far.

I loved both seasons, but probably slightly partial to Season 1. A big part of that is probably because I went to public school, so I felt like I knew who those kids were in relation to my own high school experience. Kevin in Season 2, on the other hand, is the kind of person I met frequently in college. Which makes sense as it was a liberal arts school.

I also thought the party scene in Season 1, where they are gathering all the social media footage trying to overhear Dylan’s conversation with the Wayback Boys was next level genius. That was just so impeccably executed.

But my biggest takeaway from both seasons is that both stories rose above just being a bunch of cheap laughs and using the documentary style as a gimmick. They developed the characters so well that they actually did seem real people, and as a result, I actually found myself genuinely invested in the outcome of both investigations.

I thought the first season was quite good. It’s creative. I still watch, and while it’s not awful, it doesn’t have quite the same creativity I felt earlier.

I thought S1 was a 10/10. I'd have S2 a couple notches below, but still really enjoyed it.

Agreed with the above on The Haunting of Hill House. Has anyone checked out The Apostle yet? It is getting good reviews. Netflix has been had a solid last few months with some of their releases.

2 episodes in Hill House. Pretty strong beginning so far. I like that they have ghost that appear in the background throughout each episode. Mind fuckery if you're actually seeing something that the cast isn't.

I got through 3 episodes with some friends on Monday night. Because of our schedules, we can't get together again until tomorrow night.

As with any good show, I wanted to burn through the rest of the season without them last night.

The only thing odd for me about American Vandal was it was pretty lighthearted/funny the whole way through and then just seemed to take kind of a dark turn at the end with "the dump". Seemed to get very serious.

Haunting of Hill House- it just gets better and better. Its so interwoven, the flashbacks from one person showing up in another persons flashbacks to explain- just so well thought out. Damn good!!!!
