In hindsight, if I was forced to choose between Trump and a mystery box with some random citizen over the age of 18 I would take my chances with the latter.

Well below average for anyone that could actually be a legitimate candidate for office, though. Our local state reps and city politicians are more composed and qualified.

Never said it couldn't backfire lol and I'm half joking. I'm aware how dumb the average citizen is. I am confident however that whoever pops out from that box wouldn't be 1% percent as narcissistic as Trump. In other words I think chances are that person would be just as clueless as Trump but would remove themselves from the spotlight and be hands off while designating everything to smart, qualified people. They would be too afraid, too humble, too embarrassed to not take the advice and help of those around him. This is obviously entirely hypothetical so no need to really discuss it.

edit: I'm dead serious about the bold though. He clearly doesn't have a grasp on the world.

According to a Tuesday New York Times report, an unnamed official told the outlet that “the timing of this was no coincidence.”

This new detail surfaces as statements from American and Turkish officials on Khashoggi’s alleged murder stand in stark juxtaposition.

Pompeo has been gentle with the Saudis, issuing anodyne statements after the meeting like “I don’t want to talk about any facts.”

President Donald Trump has been even more forgiving, likening the Saudis to Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh and asserting that they could not be “guilty until proven innocent.” Both Pompeo and Trump seem content to let the Saudis conduct the sole investigation into the alleged slaying.

Turkish officials, on the other hand, have been releasing evidence and brutal recordings of Khashoggi being beaten, drugged, murdered and dismembered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

Most of CA’s forests are Interior and Ag land sooooooooooooo

prescribed burns are constantly thwarted by weather conditions, lack of qualified fire fighters to execute the burns, and air pollution density in the state of CA

the CA governor issued an executive order for controlled burns before fire season but they couldn't be executed for the above reasons and more.
