Gorge virgin here planning my first trip. Requesting premier camping and if no luck on WH hoping I can snag on TM.

Planned on doing Lawn N1 then finding reserves the second night. Going solo so hoping single reserves aren’t too hard to get down the line.

Haven’t booked flight or car yet because I’m waiting for Southwest to put out their prices out of Chicago. When can I expect them to update the calendar to include our dates, anybody know?

Hearing both of you say the lawn is great is comforting as now I know that I can do it, AND if anybody wants to join later on, they will have no problem being with my friend and I on the lawn as opposed to trying to find a seat nearby in reserves.

yes, they are just like concert tickets. Hard tickets. Sell/trade just like you would any other ticket.

no name or "registry" to worry about, they just mail them out like everything else.

i don't believe standard camping has ever sold out. certainly not in the last 5-8 years. You will definitely have a spot when you show up.

You can sell your premier pass if you get 2. People in here will definitely be looking for extras! Opt out of standard for sure!! Impossible to sell on the secondary market without taking a hit.

People love the lawn at the Gorge. 3-day lawn ticket pack is nice and you get a discount. You can always sell 1 night if you choose to upgrade to seat or pits later.

I would be very happy on the lawn each night and I don't typically do lawn at the majority of other venues. Gorge lawn is a different ball game. The views are amazing and sound is good.

We've been going to the gorge every summer for the past 30 years (live close by) and always sit in the grass. Usually great people, great view, and the sound is perfect. Just make sure you bring a large blanket (10' x 8') to lay out so you can secure your area on the hill. Another great spot is the cut out seating areas right behind reserve you can see on this link right behind the concert reserve and pit area. Getting the official dates today will make the S**ty winter months more bearable now:-)

How are tickets for premier camping allocated? The drop down on the warehouse request says I can request up to 2. Is it per person, or per car?

I see a note: Pricing at the Gorge Campgrounds is per vehicle (not per person), regardless of your arrival/departure date and time.

So that means I only need one ticket so long as I only have one car, correct?

Yep 1 ticket per car. In the past I think its been up to 6 people/bracelets per car (or ticket).

you will probably get confirmed for 3 day lawn, but we have seen people get declined randomly somehow a few times. makes no sense.

You should be fine for the lawn package but last tour some people were declines and crazy enough the lawn DID sell out on Saturday in 2016. People were on the MAD HUNT for N2 lawn tickets...... I'm assuming that was due to it being the #laststop and all.
