I'm just going to camp on the plateau behind the stage, that'd be cool with Live nation, right?

Guess it's never too early to get excited about the Gorge! I will once again be a part of the "frat party" that is the Gorge Campground. Because that's just how I roll.

here's a great post about Wildhorse:

Wild Horse Campground (Official Campground of Toupstown) – This campground is located approximately one mile from the
amphitheatre and they provide a free shuttle to/from the show so that everyone can drink as much as they want!!. It’s similar to
the official Gorge campground in that vehicles will be closely parked together and you’re camping on grass. There are a few trees
here, breaking the wind and providing some morning and afternoon shade. At mid-day you’ll still be roasting in the blazing sun.

The Corrall Cafe is awesome and not too expensive. The breakfast burritos and free coffee are a godsend for hungover
mornings. They serve burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, etc. all day and they're open after the show for midnight
hunger. It is pretty awesome food. Most people usually plan on eating most of their meals there so they don't have to buy
groceries, pack, and cook their meals. It's easier than cooking when you're drunk. :-)

The showers are enclosed and there are four of them. They have hot water all day. The only thing is the wait can be kind
of long. Don't forget to bring your flip-flops for showering. And, girls... there are no electrical outlets for blow dryers or
    flatirons.

Other awesome things about Wild Horse:
    Nice fluffy green grass
Porta-potties that are cleaned twice a day
And did I mention FREE coffee in the morning?

If you want to stay here, you should buy a camping pass as soon as the dates are confirmed. It will sell out and it will
sell out fast. If for some reason you end up not being able to go, you can sell your pass. If you do sell/buy a pass, you will need
to provide the buyer with a copy of the drivers license of the name of the person who originally purchased the pass.

Our crew is usually large enough that we have to get two camp sites side-by-side at Wanapum, so I logged on early in the morning exactly 9 months in advance (the soonest you can make reservations) and the place was almost entirely booked. Luckily we were able to reserve a site but we'll all be at one instead of two...can't wait!

I agree, I can't bring myself to leave the Gorge campground. I love waking up at 7:30 and rocking tunes loud and boozing.

Agreed, it's just not the same unless you have to drink yourself comfortable before 9AM. Plus I spend most days at the river anyway so the daytime advantages of Wildhorse don't really apply to me.

True, nothing like hitting up the tennis courts at to see Boyd playing or going down to Sunland and making friends. I just can't bring myself to try anything new, other than the staff at the Gorge site the place is great. The staff is horrible though.

thanks man.....maybe me and the gf will give wildhorse a try this year.....the gorge campground has had its moments over the years, but having decent showers and not having to cook sounds pretty good too!

Fair enough. The gorge is kind of like Vegas, I go a little crazier than i normally would when i'm at the gorge.

I am so intoxicated with the surroundings, i really don't give much attention to the others around the campground

my girlfriend is the champ though, not me.. we got woken up at 8am on Sunday and she was playing flip cup from 8:30-3:00pm

needless to say she didnt make the show... which I happened to be sat in the 10th row

That's what I'm talking about, can't wait to play drinking games in the early AM.

Garlic fries are the best food in the entire world, and I don't know how I have not been eating them my entire life. Sadly I'm already planning that I won't be able to make it this year, but I will be at the Toupstown invasion of Vegas!
