The Gorge run from 2016 would be cool. Being the 25th anniversary and all, you’d think they’d release something from that year. And they’ve only done one Gorge release. But I too am all for early 2000s.

You know what's probably due? 2000. There hasn't been a release from 2000 since LT 16. While I think I'd prefer 2002, I would not be disappointed if a blu-ray/cd from 2000 came out. Or a package of the Giants Stadium run 7/11/00, 7/12/00 and 7/13/00. All three nights on cd/digital and a blu-ray of a full concerts worth of highlights. I used to listen to those three shows until I wore them out I think. I mean, good lord, look at night 1.

Hard pass on any more Blu-rays that aren't really HD footage.

2007 shows have a unique sound. I don't know how to express the thought of what makes them different but listening to LT 42 (or whatever release it is) I can tell the band has a distinctive sound unlike the other Stand Up era shows or any subsequent years.

This would make a very merry Christmas. I remember downloading these shows on Napster. 7/13 Grey Street is really good, I think.

I really want to hear an official release of the Grey Street Noah version. I don't know what show it was from, but it was from Summer 2000 I believe.

I don't get it. Lots of people here sing AFTW's praise all the time while at the same time greatly looking down upon Big Whiskey And The GrooGrux King (often times in the same post!). But once a '12 show gets suggested for a release, people quickly turn on that idea.

The band sounded like shit in 2012 and really wasn't a strong tour, plus that winter tour was super half-assed. I don't want half-assed versions of AFTW songs.

I think there are plenty of other years that outshine '12, however I do think it was a pretty solid year as far as post-Roi years go. It had some really good setlists, and You Never Know was in rotation which is a big plus. Also I am a big fan of Beach Ball which saw a few full band plays that year. All in all, I think if they are to release a 2012 show, there are a few nights from that year that could make for a good choice.

But enough talk about 2012, what about a '94 release? Nothing from that year (which is one of my favorite years) has made it onto a Live Trax. I think 9.28.94 would be a great release. (Under The Table & Dreaming release show) 12.17.94 would also be nice. Maybe there's something about the way these '94 shows were recorded that is keeping them away from Live Trax?
