alright, Acester, i listened to 6/8/97 and a few other select shows that have been thrown around on this thread, and i agree with you, 6/8/97 probably does have the best all-around performance.

That being said, I do want to see a Minarets -> Typical released from this era, in addition to Leave Me Praying and a few other tunes. We'll definitely need multiple releases from 1997. But, you have my support - 6/8 should be first.

But really, I'll take any.

Yeah, I listened to Red Rocks and Riverbend in addition to 6/8 (i think it was actually you that recommended those 3 earlier in the thread.) I actually liked the setlist of those two better (due to the Minarets > Typical, PFWYG) but I am a sucker for all things Bela Fleck. And hearing him on Seek Up really put 6/8 over the top for me. Seek Up is in my top 5, and that version was just beautiful. We have a lot of songs released with Bela already, but Seek Up HAS to be added to that list.

The Seek Up is amazing and I actually like what boyd does a lot on that version too. For me I think I liked Boyds parts even better than belas but I havent listened to it in a while lol Those two definitely have better setlists than 6/8/97 I still have not listened to riverbend though, where did you get it?

From my experience, contacting the Warehouse gets you a pretty standardized reply. Maybe discussing the research you did and your mission to get a 97 show released would set it apart. But from the one time I emailed them and from what i've heard others say, usually you get a "Thanks for your suggestion. We will pass it along" kind of email back.

are you in the warehouse? I have emailed them a couple times about different things. I think it is a good thing to let them know how you feel about certain shows. They always respond normally that day. Obviously one person will not make a difference but I have emailed them several times and always mentioned how great a 97 show would be. I have also told them about certain releases I thought were excellent. I am going to send one about the Mile High release (my first negative) and I will mention 6/8/97 for you I would tone down the language though. You don't want them to mistakenly think you are weird.
