Well, I just looked at my order summary from when Piedmont came out:

3 cd: $14.24
2 dvd: $15.20

Thats a $29.44 total. I cant imagine this costing that much more until they add the shipping cost, haha.

keep in mind that this is all associated with big whiskey and the album promotion tour still. i wouldnt be surprised if were getting some really great packaging with several extras for the "deluxe" box.

i also expect that there will be some more bare bones options. i think there are going to be different levels of price/stuff just like for big whiskey. i wouldnt be surprised if a calendar was thrown in for the preorder.

Like I said, Amazon just updated their listings. They ALWAYS do this. I will tell you right now that it will not be $69.99 (now maybe a special edition from the Warehouse + shipping might be close) not for the standard retail release version

$70 my ass I payed less than that for The Complete Weekend on the Rocks which was something like 8 Cds and a DVD

That better be a full show DVD to have any justification for that price, even then it should be more like $45

FYI, that is the MSRP (aka placeholder). The price will go down when it is officially announced by the band and information is released. Probably 39.99 range or so.

Or the price. That Amazon price is just arbitrary until a real price is announced....And nothing is even available for purchuse or pre-order on Amazon anyways...so they could list it for $100000 and it would, and does, mean nothing.

My guess is the offical announcement will come any second since the offical site has just been 'updated' twice in the last hour with news: DMB in Larger than Life and Charity Auctions for Dave and Tim.....Meaning they should knock out all announcements in the same day...right?
