that's the other one that is like, "duh!" I mean, could it not be any more clearer what happened?

How do you explain the injuries for the Dyatlov Pass incident? I suppose an animal could explain the missing tounge, though I don't know what wildlife is like in northern Russia. (Definitely the creepiest injury.)

when scavengers come across a corpse, they go after the tongue, tip of the nose, and eyes first. soft, fleshy, and delicious... just sayin'.

It's 6 famous people whose identities we still don't know ...

    #6 Tiananmen Square guy
#5 Kissers on V-J Day in Times Square (the sailor / nurse, though nurse is known & I want to say died recently)
    # 4 Zodiac killer
    # 3 Bubuska lady (who could prove / disprove who killed JFK)
    # 2 Killer of Sweden's PM
    # 1 Jack the Ripper

they mention this in the article, but Beverly Oliver, the lady who was long thought to be the Bubuska lady, was 17 at the time (that lady looks at least 35) and can't prove she was there.

    Update to the story above:

Apparently, there is a prisoner in Utah who will not reveal his identity. The unidentifiable man shares some of the same characteristics of Ray Gricar.

I think something less than that, but yea. That really looks like the same guy, and I would assume he just wanted to disappear, and succeeded.

If you notice at the bottom of the article, It says it's not him.

Still pretty amazing of the resemblance though.

Maybe this will help: there no conspiracy. Lee Harvey Oswald did it.

This case is where the spooky kid thing called "The Candy Man" came from. i actually used to drive by the torture/death house every day. a large hispanic family lives there now... no clue if they know what went on in their house back then.

this is the newest victim to be identified. it seems that we get a new vic ID'd about once a year lately with new dna technologies.

wikipedia it up... interesting read, for certain.

FBI releases new suspect in the Dan "D.B." Cooper case. They say this is a new name that's never come up before, and is their most promising lead in years. They are hoping to prove that it is him with DNA evidence from the tie and ashtray butts left by the highjacker.

Right before he died he said:

    Quote:
A pale, sunken shadow of his once robust self, Ruby continued to look back on the assassination even in his final illness. Though his claim has already been corroborated by two lie-detector tests, he wants to take another test, says his brother Earl, "so that people will be convinced that there was no plan on his part, or conspiracy of any kind," to kill Oswald. "There is nothing to hide," Ruby said last week. "There was no one else."
