I don’t see what everyone thinks looks so great about this. It’s looks like a campier, cornier version of the first one with a brighter color palate (thank James Gunn for that). I mean the Guardians films were fun, so maybe this will be good? But I’m not going out of my way to watch it.

I’m getting to the point with WB/DC where if it’s not Batman or Superman related or directed by Zack Snyder then I’m just not going to watch.

WW84 was awful. Birds of Prey I didn’t even bother to watch. Shazam was whatever. Aquaman was decent. What they did to Justice League and Suicide Squad was unforgivable.

ZSJL and Reeve’s Batman are the only two DC projects which have excited me for like the past 4 years.

Finally watched ZS JL. Once I got past the first hour it was pretty good.

Way too much slow motion and I hated the Joker thing at the end but the three major battle scenes were much better. Also Flash and Cyborg were much better.

Glad he got to fix his movie.

Yeesh... looking at them listed out just illustrates how weak this franchise has been. The only one I thought was really well done was Wonder Woman. The others had their enjoyable moments but mostly forgettable.

Not counting the theatrical version of JL anymore, because fuck that movie. Watched 20 minutes or so of Birds of Prey, and that was enough for me. Horrible movie.
Aquaman and WW are neck and neck, but WW gets the edge for being a better acted and better made movie. That said, Aquaman was a bit more fun to watch and gets more rewatches from me.

Not interested in the new Suicide Squad movie. I'll see it for shits and giggles, but I want to see superheroes. The only thing that interested me about the first one was Joker and Harley Quinn, and the fact that they were tying Batman into the story. I have no interest in watching a bunch of no-name, foul mouthed, overly violent villains. Never been one for overt, gory violence, and this movie just looks stupid. The choices WB makes are mind boggling.

I can get how people who decried JL went all in on ZSJL and loved it. It's not a very good movie. It's just not. Regardless of the extra parts, it's just a great story.

Silas Stone was a great character. His parts + the Whedon cut would be the best bet for the movie. everything else is meh.

Watched the first 5-10 minutes, was hilarious. I'll see if my wife has any interest in watching this at all this weekend. If not, gonna have to find time. Can't watch something with my 2-year-old roaming around where a dude gets the top of his head sliced off

part of why DC cinematic universe is a drag for me is because its always taken itself WAY too seriously. that was the complete opposite. that tops my list. animated stuff is on a whole other level though.
