Anyways, finished the show. That Get Up has to be a top 5 DMB moment of all time. James Brown doing his thing on the same stage as DMB, and Dave's reaction to it all is fucking priceless.

Will have to play the bonus disc tomorrow, but that tracklist is awesome

I really don't want to get into the middle of your argument, but he does know what he's talking about when it comes to audio/video. Others will vouch for him as well. I'm not sure why you're so mad at him, but he's a valued part of the community and very helpful with audio/video type questions.

I posted this earlier today, but it got lost in the kinddog melt so I'll repost:

The discs arrived this afternoon and I just finished watching the whole show – absolutely fantastic. It was such a fun show and Sex Machine was wild. I know the whole "teH Energzz" gets way overplayed on these boards, but when James Brown was introduced it was unreal to hear the reaction, and then the performance was just over the top. The interaction between Brown and Dave is priceless - as Brown went around the stage calling out musicians to solo and then pointed to Dave, it looked like he wanted to run away and hide

While not DMB's best show by any means, it was certainly one of the most defining shows for them which makes it an excellent release. Now onto the bonus disc!

First off I want to apologize about going on my rant earlier about how upset I was over the video quality. It's just that I love blu ray concerts and I have 10s of thousands invested in my home theater. I couldn't hit the buy button fast enough when I found out that my favorite band of all time was finally releasing a blu ray, especially after my radio city blu ray has been played 1000 times over. Hopefully someday soon we will get a HD video blu ray but I was just fusterated about getting my hopes up and hoping that this disk would hold me over during the bands break and the constant hangover I've had ever since the gorge night 3 this year. I'll always love this band, the sound on this mix is fantastic & skip over my tirade earlier in this thread.
