I'd take a screeching Boyd all over stage over a heartless/soulless TR solo. TR just doesn't bring the energy in most songs. He has a few highlights but mostly he's just boring. Loyd brought energy, a unique sound, and honestly defined this band. There are tons of qualified violinist out there DMB..common

LIOG is the one song that is just totally unlistenable in the current format. It can still work without a violin but Tim needs to be turned down and shouldn’t solo. Give me Rashawn on the inter-verse breakdowns and Buddy for the whole outro.
