Did any Ants get a chance to attend this?

Saw someone on Facebook post about it in Couch Tour.

This show was for "select" spotify users in Seattle.

Dave solo show, just 280 people at the Columbia City Theatre.

That would have been awesome.

I wonder what he gets for these? I hate the idea of artists doing corporate gigs, but then I realize it's still a performance and for money and that's their "job". A gig like this probably covers a couple of years of college (or private elementary and secondary ed) for his kids or he might donate the profits to one of his many concerns.

Would like to see Dave or D&T or DMB in a smaller venue again. Smallest for us was D&T at the Olympia in Dublin last year and then the Palace Theater in Albany in '95. Ever since then it's been at least 15K capacity venues for DMB shows.

I don't really consider this a "corporate gig" in the same way that the Target one was. This wasn't just entertainment for employees/executives, it was specifically for fans, and it just happened to be arranged by a corporation.

Every week, Spotify releases “Spotify Singles”. They’re two live tracks from artists playing one of their own songs, and a cover.

The recordings always sound phenomenal. I’m sure we’ll get two of these on Spotify’s New Music Friday’s at some point.

People typically don't get excited when the band advertises something they can't attend or partake in.

Remember when they tried to release live music just on vinyl?

Pretty pissed I wasn’t invited to this. I’m on Spotify all day listening to this band half the time and I live in Seattle. Almost makes me want to go to a competitor.

Same. It’s almost the only thing I listen to on Spotify and I’ve been a paid premium user for a long time. I had no idea about this.

At least I didn’t have to sit through Come Tomorrow solo. Only thing worse than Come Tomorrow is Cone Tomorrow without the rest of the band’s musicianship.

It's not a great song but I would be interested to hear it, plus literally every other song on the set is good solo acoustic so there's that

Yeah on Fridays Spotify releases two tracks by an artist who've played in their studio. An original and a cover. Didn't realize it was a full on concert though that goes on.

Do you know of any 2000 or later full band shows that were not multi-tracked? It would be cool to get one of them as a DMBLive release one day (if they exist).
