Finally was able to watch the first 3 episodes - very excited to see the payoff. The little commercials with Stark, Strucker, and Hydra products...very interesting. Obviously S.W.O.R.D. will play a big role here, but I’m interested to see what else is at play.

Wandavision is the MCU filtered through a Vertigo Comics lens, and I love it.

I didn't like this week's episode quite as much as the first two (Episode 2 was perfection), but I'm still definitely on board. I love that the producers were willing to take a chance on a weird pocket universe story that'll likely have huge consequences for the MCU.

Some people have guessed that the butterflies animating and the stork are actually Billy - in utero - using his powers (in the comics, he shares the Scarlet Witch's power set).

I definitely think there’s an element of that at play, I am still unsure of where this is headed (which makes this really exciting and interesting IMO). I also am unsure of who the big bad (assuming there is one, and only one) is. Mephisto certainly seems the most likely, but I still wonder if they’d go that obvious.

I also wonder if Spader makes an appearance in the show, and if any more Ultron talk surfaces. I don’t think Ultron is dead/permanently gone in the MCU.

I hope not. Ultron should be given another chance. He's one of the few bads that they can bring back with little retconning, if any needed, and still make a great character.

I thought he was fine in Age of Ultron a compelling character. I think that movie gets unfairly shit on in the MCU. It's not top tier, but it's a lot of fun and the foreshadowing in it is spectacular.

Vision "died" when Thanos removed the stone from his forehead at the end of Infinity War. She's probably trying to create a reality where he's alive again, and she's trying to make it as "normal" (suburban American) as possible.

It's not just about the timeline, though. The thing used to power Vision (the Mind Stone) has been snapped out of existence. So if he comes back, he'll have to be given "life" or essence by some other source. For now, that's Wanda. But maybe they'll find some other way.

He's ultimately a computer, there's no reason they couldn't revive him. Between Scarlett's magic and Bruce's firsthand experience creating Vision, plus they have Shuri at their disposal. Makes complete sense that they could somehow revive him.

Agreed. I guess the only thing is will the MCU set the standard for retconning on-screen deaths? The comics are well known for it but what about the movies? With the movies, you actually have to deal with the actors and their ages. Paul Bettany is basically 50. Are they gonna lock him up for another decade of playing this character?
