Is there any way to purchase this release, short of subscribing to the warehouse?

Re: Warehouse 2023: Nashville Vanderbilt 2009

This release was the first time I heard someone (probably Carter?) providing a short backing vocal (loud-whispered) on two words during the 3rd verse of Recently: "She and me go to places quiet, where we are quite alone". Maybe other people have better headphones than me (most definitely true) and have always heard this, but I thought it was cool.

This got me curious as to how often this happens. So I checked all the versions that I have (I'm not a completionist but I do have a fair amount of stuff lol), and in 11 of my 28 versions there's a whispered "quite alone" backing vocal (released versions are on Live at Red Rocks, LT 13, LT 33, LT 59, and Warehouse 7 disc Vol. 1). In 2 versions I have, there's a harmonized "quite alone" sung (a released version is on LT 30).

Carter always does that backing vocal, sometimes it's more noticeable than others. You can especially hear it on IEM recordings from the 90s and 00s.

Well I guess not always, right? 2022 he did no vocals at all, right? Minarets and Watchtower didn't he stop completely?

Re: Warehouse 2023: Nashville Vanderbilt 2009

    Started listening today.

This was my second show and there's a ton of nostalgia and memory wrapped up in this one. I was in college and scrounged together the $100 for a field ticket. It was literally all the money I had at the time. Me and two buddies drove from Oxford, MS. Instead of a 3.5 hr drive, we went the wrong way out of arrogance and made it a 5 hr drive (x2 for both ways). We left at around 6 am to get in line by noon and were driving back into Oxford at 5 AM.

The show was phenomenal and as a new fan it crossed off so many classics and fan favorites. Stellar versions of all performed songs. I listened to the boot of the show pretty regularly in the preceding months. But I don't think I've listened to it in at least 10 years now.

Revisiting this performance is so comforting. Hearing that show over and with such clarity brings back all the warm fuzzies of that day. I know it's not the best DmB show ever, but man, it's really special to have it.

I didnt for this curent release but i have gotten that message in previous releases, usually if i clicked on the wrong download manager by mistake. All it takes to corect this is an email to the warehouse and they'll fix it for you so you can download again.

Are you finding time to listen to other DMB or other music in general? Or is this release just not screaming for you to check it out?

This may be old news, but I renewed my Warehouse membership today -a November renewal, that I was able to do earlier than previous years- and I could immediately download the 2023 Warehouse/Tennessee shows. Really nice to not have to wait a month before you can download these.
