The first day Radio City came out I went and bought it. My girlfriend and I had only been dating for a couple weeks at the time. I knew she was something special when she knew, got excited, and could sing every song on the album. That's my DMB relationship story...However OP you're and idiot.

Well the pouch is a little tender, but I think I've built up enough pain tolerance to deal with this thread.

OP, if you come forward now and admit to your lies all will be forgiven.

    Re: DMB Relationship Stories

My friend's girlfriend got too drunk, the medical screening at Hartford took her aside, they didn't get to go to the concert. And told me this when DMB was going into the encore, the friends I was with couldn't give me a ride, so I was momentarily stranded. Then they call me that they are coming back to pick me up. I open up the car door, yell FUCK YOU at the kid, and then see his mother in the front seat . Looking back on it it's very funny but not so much that night .

EDIT: One time in middle school after seeing a movie I got into the wrong person's car thinking it was my parents HAH.

    Dude, weak.

My girlfriend of 2 years hates DMB. No reason to end a relationshipwith someone though lol. She does however enjoy their covers and a majority of BWGK.

Happened in Hartford to a friend of mine as well lol. She was having trouble keeping her eyes open in line.

i will never EVER go to a concert with someone who gets shitfaced. i WILL leave them behind and let someone else deal with them. i go for the music, not to babysit someone who can't hold their alcohol.

Exactly! This summer even though I will be 21 for the first time at DMB, I don't intend on getting ridiculously drunk and missing the show. A few beers in the parking lots before and some good bud is enough for me!

EDIT: I didn't know that they would be drinking so much at that concert. I got the idea when she made jungle juice and then had more beer...

I'm right there with you, brother. Thats why I have little patience for people who stumble into me or my family. If they're nice about it and apologize I'll let it fly. If there belligerent and rude...

Unless you're filthy rich, a few beer in the lots is the only economic choice. Teenagers should be restricted to one 40oz and no liquor.

Yeah unfortunately I am well aware how much the venues rob people with the Beer Stands inside. I was considering doing the whole VIP thing for a show with the open bar, I wonder if that ends up being more economically sensible?

EDIT: And you never see the people who smoke acting belligerent and rude

^ Good point if you're laughing why I think you are, teenagers aren't the only problem .

I hate the gigantic groups of kids who find it necessary to get totally drunk and then shout all the lyrics the entire night.

I hate the kids that go just for that reason.. they could care less if they're seeing DMB, Nickelback or Reading Rainbow on Ice

    Good thread. Throughly enjoyable.

My girlfriend got me into DMB. So it's her fault that I'm here right now.

I listened to Shake Me with my girlfriend and she laughed at "rather be licking you from your back to your belly." So I tried it on her that night.

Needless to say, Dave is a dirty fucker. But hey...I got sum from it!
