Nope. Some people just are wired to say "Ugh." to everything. It's the Master P syndrome.

I think Dave's voice was a tiny bit rough in a few places, that's about it. I also think he sounds as good as anyone can expect after a 47 show summer after 25 years of touring.

Agreed. I like his voice much better now than the early days.

I really liked that performance, and that was one of my least favorite songs from Stand Up. Tim was well balanced, Jeff had some nice melodic playing, no blaring trumpet.

    Looking forward to this show.

Dave sounds good when it’s just 2 acoustic guitars

Yell singing over all that noise full band leaves much to be desired. His voice is rarely good

So, you're saying almost every full band performance is rough for you.

yeah lol. he is human, and a singer. not everything is going to sound perfect. and their stuff is so improvised, seemed to me like he was singing partly that way on purpose because he wanted to see where it went, or liked how it sounded. that's one of the reasons why I love this band. you never know where the magic will come out at. part of the reason I like this version so much is how much they are enjoying it.

My wife was loving that tune. They were pretty fun. Loved when they played Bohemian Rhapsody. That moment really set up a great vibe for the rest of the night.

Yes it did. And the Hall & Oates cover of Rich Girl N3 was enjoyable too.

Side pony became a running joke all weekend.

I've had a few shows on while i've been at work the past few days. the most notable difference to me is watching or listening to performances of 2000-2002 and comparing to now. I know it's like 15 years ago, but, like, the effort he has to put into singing is mind boggling. grey st and grace come to mind right away, especially after listening and watching older shows. use to belt out the "she would change everything about her" so effortlessly and as intended whereas now its "she. would. change. every. thing. abouther." like he's gasping throughout the whole sentence. same goes for the last chorus of grace before the jam.

Yeah, I get your point about the vocals on grey street but I find the music these days to be most offensive.

The Tempo is way too fast. carters fills are not nearly as good and RR sucks. All leading up to a less jazzy sound then the one we loved. Also tim is shedding all over it and it's not in a good way
