It is literally a desert. No mosquitos for sure.

I may be misremembering, but is star parking the one that’s actually inside the venue?

Still no idea if I can go, but I booked a hotel, a car, and put in a request for tix. I guess I will just cancel everything if it doesn't work out. When do you find out the seat locations of the tix requested? I will be so bummed if I can't make it, not going last year after finally making in 2016 SUCKED.

I'm curious too. I've read through all the FAQ's and looked online, and can't see where it actually is on a map vs. regular parking.

As one of the keepers of the faq, I should probably know......

Hopefully someone can chime in and I’ll update the info. The problem is that the faq was put together by camping regulars so our knowledge of things like hotels and parking is all third hand.

There's Star parking and then there's Plaza parking. Plaza IS worth every dollar because you have your own freaking entrance to the venue and in 2016, we got to enter before the main entrance. Leaving took minutes and if you're booked out of town, this is important.

Also this is THE BEST map I've seen of the campgrounds / parking / venue layout. Kudos to The Gorge for putting it together. WAY better than the old map I had.

My memory from last being there in 2014; STAR was where OASIS is now, against the tree line to the west. And Plaza was somewhere right of the big star?

Edit: or is the tree line between Oasis and Gold, and therefore STAR was the far left of where Gold is now?

After staying in D9 and being pleasantly surprised by the space and tenants, I'll probably stay there again this year.

Yes, I agree! The walk is literally a million miles when you've been dancing for the past 3 hours (either on concrete or grass slope) !!

The past few years we have brought a dish tub and Epsom salts for post-show feet soaking. HEAVENLY.

Can the 3 day lawn package be purchased in addition to the reserved seats for each night on the same account in warehouse?
