The character in Curb was named Cliff Cobb. That's actually my single favorite episode of Curb ever.

"That's my grandfather's salad Larry."

"Wait, what?"

"I'm the Cobb. Of Cobb Salad."

Larry: You know what? My grandfather's name was Harold Bingo, and he invented Bingo!

Was in NYC over Thanksgiving and ate a black and white cookie for the first time. Jerry was right. The key is getting both vanilla and chocolate together in the same bite.

And yet racial harmony eludes us.

Darling, you see where that glass is? How that glass is near the edge of the table. You got the whole table there to put the glass, why you chose the absolute edge, so half the glass is hanging off the table, you breath and that glass falls over, then you're gonna have broken glass on the carpet, embedded in the carpet fibers, deep, deep in the shag, broken glass, bits of broken glass that you never get out. you can't get it out with a vacuum cleaner. Even on your hands and knees with a magnifying glass, you can't get all the pieces, and then you think you got it all and two years later, you're walkin' barefoot and you step on a piece of broken glass and you kill yourself, is that what you want? I don't think you want that, is it? .. Do you?

I didn't realize how many of the off camera voices in the first two seasons are just Larry David. Newman pretending to kill himself, the guy on TV in the episode that George has a heart attack, even when there is a bunch of confusing cross talk in the Chinese restaurant where Elaine tries to eat the egg roll you can hear Larry David asking what did she say (link below).

    https://youtu.be/zLLTQnZsx8c?t=1m26s

Obviously later on he's the lawyer in a cape and Steinbrenner, but when I first saw those earlier episodes I didn't know Larry's voice very well so never picked up on it.

"Is anyone here a Marine Biologist?" and "I ordered the Kosher meal" also come to mind for LD.

Larry is also very prevalent doing voices in a lot of the fake movies that they would have sound from when the gang is at the movies. Ex: "Everybody out of the chunnel!!" and the dialog from Rochelle, Rochelle.

and in the episode where Jerry wakes up on his couch with that weird movie playing, LD is the mad scientist character who's screaming. Jerry then spends the rest of the episode what kind of material he was thinking he could use with it

I read some where after Seinfeld was picked up for syndication, Wayne Knight re-recorded all the lines Larry David did as Newman.

he actually spends the episode trying to figure out what he wrote down about the movie, because it was the middle of the night and he wrote sloppily.

Been watching Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on Netflix. What an amazing show. So simple but so good.

Watched the Michael Richards ep last night. So heartbreaking hearing him talking about how he screwed up. You can feel the regret he lives with.
