Oh yeah that Eric Bana Hulk was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Probably the reason I didn't bother to see the Edward Norton reboot.

Ed Norton Hulk is very solid. It's not the best movie, but it's better than I think it gets credit for.

I think it suffered box office wise because of that piss poor release in 2003.

Classic case of fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I am looking forward to seeing it during the weekly marathon. I have heard rumors about some characters in that movie finally making appearances in the MCU again soon.

I'll be interested to hear what you think. I personally think Ed Norton was much better than Ruffalo. I would have loved to see him carry on, but oh well.

Still haven't had a chance to see Agent Carter yet. My brother said it was pretty good, but I've read mixed reviews. I've been sick all week so every night I come home from work and crash on the couch and have been catching up on Season 1 of SHIELD. Then my wife comes in and we watch House of Cards (been watching this every night, it's so good). So I'm hoping to catch Carter this weekend.

    Avengers
    Iron Man
    Iron Man 3
Guardians of the Galaxy (maybe before Iron Man 3, but it's still very new to me.)
    Thor
    The Incredible Hulk (Edward Norton)
    Captain America
Thor 2 (just don't remember it too well so not sure if this stands)

I didn't get mad at it from a "they're fucking with the canon!!!" kind of angle (I've never read any Iron Man either), but from a "you spent half the film setting up what looks to be an awesome villain but then switching it to yet another Boring White Business Guy?" kind of angle.

Kind of had a similar problem (but to a much smaller degree) with Iron Man two. Who gives a shit about Tony's evil business rivals, let's see some Whiplash, Whiplash looks sweet.

I get what you mean. I was in utter disbelief when they unveiled Trevor. I thought there must be more to the story, but he in fact was just Trevor and not the Mandarin. His setup was absolutely fantastic. He was so dark and those videos were so creepy. It just wasn't enough to take away from how much fun the movie was though. Favorite line of the movie was the thug that Tony aims the gun at "I hate working here. They're so weird". The theater was in hysterics at that part.

Did you ever see the Marvel One Shot that came with Thor 2? It has Trevor in prison and there's talk of the real Mandarin. I'm curious to see if that is still going to play into the MCU with no Iron Man 4 in sight.

Sounds like if it does get a green light it'll be forever before it actually hits TV.

alright, well sure I mean that sounds interesting, but I hold out very little hope that we'd ever see that come to fruition. For one thing, for it really to be any good and at all live up to its source material, I'd imagine they wouldn't be able to sustain the budget it would surely need to have, even if it's "only" 10 or 13 episodes for a season.

Does anyone else think something like Civil War should have been a two part Avengers movie? Seems like a lot to fit into a single Cap movie.

Yeah, but if they get it all into a Cap movie and make it work then that shit will be tight as hell

I think it would make a fine 2 part Avengers movie, but I'd rather see Thanos get the two part treatment

Nice, really looking forward to learning more about the character! I like the idea of the suit evolving. I think that's cool. I hope they do that with The Flash.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: yes the 2003 (or whenever it was) Ben Affleck Daredevil movie sucked, but Affleck himself doesn't even crack the top 5 on the list of reasons why.

    It's official!

    http://marvel.com/news/movies/24062/..._of_spider-man

    Quote:
(Culver City, California, and Burbank, California February 09, 2015) – Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Studios announced today that Sony is bringing Marvel into the amazing world of Spider-Man.

Under the deal, the new Spider-Man will first appear in a Marvel film from Marvel's Cinematic Universe (MCU). Sony Pictures will thereafter release the next installment of its $4 billion Spider-Man franchise, on July 28, 2017, in a film that will be co-produced by Kevin Feige and his expert team at Marvel and Amy Pascal, who oversaw the franchise launch for the studio 13 years ago. Together, they will collaborate on a new creative direction for the web slinger. Sony Pictures will continue to finance, distribute, own and have final creative control of the Spider-Man films.

Marvel and Sony Pictures are also exploring opportunities to integrate characters from the MCU into future Spider-Man films.

The new relationship follows a decade of speculation among fans about whether Spider-Man – who has always been an integral and important part of the larger Marvel Universe in the comic books – could become part of the Marvel Universe on the big screen. Spider-Man has more than 50 years of history in Marvel's world, and with this deal, fans will be able to experience Spider-Man taking his rightful place among other Super Heroes in the MCU.

Under the deal, the new Spider-Man will first appear in a Marvel film from Marvel's Cinematic Universe (MCU). Sony Pictures will thereafter release the next installment of its $4 billion Spider-Man franchise, on July 28, 2017
Focusing on that part of the press release. It doesn't say it by name, but Captain America 3 seems like the obvious choice considering his role in Civil War, but who knows how involved he can be depending on how far along the movie is at this point.

Release dates from now and July 28th, 2017:

Avengers: Age of Ultron - May 1, 2015
    Ant-Man - July 17, 2015
Captain America: Civil War - May 6, 2016
    Doctor Strange - November 4, 2016
    Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - May 5, 2017
    Thor: Ragnarok - July 28, 2017

Obviously Thor will be getting a new release date. No way Marvel is going to put it up against another MCU movie. I'd wager Cap 3 and Doctor Strange are the only viable options for Spider-Man to appear in.
