I'm hoping to eventually. Saving money right now for a wedding. D&T is the only show I'm seeing this year. It's tough! I wanna see Revivalists and Chris Robinson Brotherhood pretty bad.

I saw them Saturday night and they definitely bring the energy. But something about the lead singer annoyed me the whole show. I think it was because he reminded me of someone I went to high school with who was always just too cool. I saw him on Instagram afterwards and if I'm honest, he seems like a perfectly nice and pleasant fellow tho

He's a cool guy. He will actually pop in to Revivalists fan groups on Facebook and say hi to everyone.

But their show definitely brought the energy.

I think I might have to leave that group. Their cluttering up my FB with pictures of Wish I Knew You on their radio. Pretty soon it'll be windows and bumper stickers.

Everyone on the Revheads FB page raved about it last year. It's David's home town, it'll be a helluva great time.

It is a great time. Love the venue setup. Super laid back last 2 years. You could bring your own alcohol and really whatever you want into the venue with zero hassel. I carried in a large bottle of whiskey in a plastic bag. haha. At least this is how it was last year. If you are able to grab a hotel room at the venue site its amazing. Hotel is likely a solid sold out at this point. The Record Company, Marcus King Band and Naughty Professor are also great bands. Well worth the price of admission imo.

No problem! Enjoy the show, it will be great! The Revs are my #2 band behind DMB and when DMB calls it quits I will travel for them the way I do DMB now.

Agreed. They aren't quite #2 for me, but they're the best young band I've come across. Worthy of catching multiple shows in a tour.

I think the Revheads might ruin it for me if I don't leave. Their obsession is a bit sickening. Is that what the Family is like?

The Family is much worse. There are a lot of solid people in the Revheads. The band uses them in a almost official fan club way. The members interact on there on occasion. They even did a Revhead Ball in New Orleans before their NYE show. Only members could access tickets to the private party. It was like $20 and the band played an acoustic set in a circle with everyone sitting amongst them.

Okay so I'm winding down the honeymoon phase of getting into these guys and here are the tracks I keep coming back to

    When I'm Able
    Criminal
    Up in The Air
    Keep Going
    Stand Up
    it Was a Sin
    Amber
    Bulletproof
    Fade Away
    Straw Man
    Catching Fireflies
    Soulfight

Great shit. Really looking forward to hear their new unreleased tunes in person next month.
