Yeah this. Essentially TM has the whole industry and the fans who support it by the balls. I have no doubt that they manipulate contracts, etc to make it nearly an essential part of doing business with them, and in 2024 it's nearly impossible NOT to do business with them if you're a nationally touring act on any sort of large scale.
