I hate when co workers don't keep their calendar up to date. It makes trying coordinate meetings a nightmare.

Was driving on the Edens today, behind a van with 5 ladders strapped to the top of it. After 8 minutes, there were only 3 ladders on the top. Nothing like shit flying right at you going 70 MPH in traffic.

I was actually more thinking the original Point Break where a surfboard went flying into someone's car and killed them. (At least I think that was the movie.)

When they hit the air, the more helicoptered than slid right back towards my car. Just that little lift probably gave me an extra half second to react.

I feel like I see half a dozen of those types of vans every drive to work. Never like to be behind them.

Sure enough the other day I saw one of those 16' aluminum ladders lying (parallel) in the middle of a 5 lane 70mph highway. Just one car to clip it or even swerve to avoid it and multi car pileup!

When I was 36 and 37 I kept saying 40 was the new 20 and really hit it with some gusto, but at 38 it seems 9:00 is the new midnight. I'd actually rather go to bed by 10ish cause I like to be up very early especially in the spring summer months.

I will admit that I woke up earlier than I normally do on a weekday and feel great. I may have to start getting to bed earlier more often. I also like being awake earlier during the spring/summer. Gotta enjoy the warm weather while you can.

I went out and saw The Revivalists last night.

Do I wish the show was at 4pm instead of 9pm? Yes. Yes I do.

You went to see a movie on 4/20 and it wasn’t super troopers?

    Shame.

Yea I was up today at 530 and it's beautiful out already. I can hopefully get a bunch of stuff done and be on the lake by 12. If I sleep in when it's nice I just feel like a waste the day. Tomorrow I sure as hell won't want to get up though.

Was just coming in here to post something similar. Was up at 7:00 and have everything done for the day. This no booze experiment may become a little more permanent.

I wake up at 6:50 on weekdays for work

So my rule is to wake up at 6 on weekends. Boom. Weekdays are my "sleep in days" and I no longer hate waking up

Those neighbors sound like they haven’t gotten laid in a decade.

“My kids can hear things I don’t want them hearing” fuck off.

I don't know. Call me old fashioned but having a bunch of strangers over for sex sounds weird AF. I wonder if my old boss from PWC was on the guest list.

In other news, this is a feel good story.

Any death in the family is pretty rough, imo. Now that I'm over 40, when someone dies at 63, it freaks me the hell out. It's like how shitty are my genes???

if you hire a cleaning service, and they charge X amount (assumed you're leaving a check or cash for them), are you or are you not expected to tip on top of that?

Depends on what they are cleaning and for how long, but I would say yes, some sort of tip would be appropriate.
