About everything you expect out of a sequel, over the top and silly, some decent laughs throughout but far from anything great. They shoved a little too much Farva down your throat and some scene went on very noticeably too long.

About Time made me cry with its sincerity. Brigsby just warmed my cold dead heart.

Wonder just had me rolling my eyes. I didn't connect with it at all.

I can absolutely relate to getting bullied, as I got it pretty bad in middle school, but my bullies never had any come to Jesus moment and no strangers ever reached out to befriend me.

It kinda reminded me of The Patriot in that regard. And I think we all hate The Patriot.

My wife was bullied in middle/high school which is odd because was really popular.

I was never bullied but her stories are pretty depressing and almost teen movie like, we looked up a few of her teen bullies on facebook and it looks like she got the last laugh x100.

Moon (Netflix) - 7.75/10

Finally saw this now that it's streaming. I was kind of underwhelmed, but that's mostly because I know this was the Ants #1 movie for that year. It was still good though and it was definitely an interesting plot, but it had kind of a low budget feel. I'm glad I saw it, but don't have any desire to revisit it any time soon.

I just bought a new house and went roughly a week without cable, so I've just been picking out random stuff at redbox which has heavily contributed to my bad streak. I thought "All The Money in the World" was a pretty safe bet, but it was pretty "blah" for me. Mollys Game was the only thing I've watched recently that I liked.

Luckily, I'm getting cable/internet today so I won't be forcing movies as much. I don't really have anything on tap, but I'm definetly open to suggestions.

I am not sure. I remember watching 21 Jump Street on FX On Demand and there were commercials (and honestly littered with them, and you couldn’t fast forward). I don’t remember it being edited for content whether that was dubbing over swearing or cutting whole scenes out. The onslaught of commercials were enough for me to never do it again - but I don’t know if FXNow and what I did were the same thing.

I suppose the only way to find out for sure would be to check it out for 5-10 minutes. The Martian is definitely a movie I would recommend not watching with commercials, for both the atmosphere (no pun intended) as well as the fact that it’s a long movie without them.

I remember first seeing a trailer for this, and I was kind of stunned at, given the quality of the cast, to see a movie so desperately and obviously trying to be edgy as a way to be funny. like "oh my god, look at these nuns and priests being awful human beings, in the LAST place you'd expect!!" That practically made me cringe alone, I can't imagine what the full movie would be like.
