Awesome. Love hearing the album from Dave's perspective.

Is there really no way to listen to this recording still?

I can't find anything. I thought it would end up on youtube or be on-demand.

Some folks in dMb Family are saying you can access it On Demand, but I can't get it to work. They say it's through the SiriusXM App and that you don't have to have the service.

Welp, I haven't come across any way to watch the track-by-track thing, but there is a new on-demand interview up on Debatable. It is 17 minutes long and worth a listen.

Don't need to waste time evening listening to determine Dave's "creative process." I'll tell you right here: 1. can't write enough good new songs 2. go back into the vaults and dig up stuff that wasn't good enough to release in the past 3. modpodge it together in the shape of a CD 4. #1 album!

Idea of You and Shotgun weren't good enough to release in the past?

Apparently not, since Shotgun still isn't released and this studio version of IOY sounds like the rejected b-side that it is.

Shotgun probably still isn’t good enough to be released on an album guys. Stop kidding yourselves. The musical parts individually are incredible but as a cohesive song it’s a mess. The chorus is an absolute mess. It’s so close to being an incredible song but I don’t think Dave could ever figure out how to properly complete it which is why it hasn’t made it on an album

Would love to hear Justin Vernon produce dm/dmb. He would figure out how to finish them. Not sure how he would handle carter though. Maybe dm solo but I think he could finish shotgun. Give them more of an edge too. Too soft on this last album.
