"Time Bomb" 2018 - Needs Return/Heavy Rotation
Been on a Big Whiskey kick as of late. BW definitely gets better with age.

"Time Bomb" hasn't been played since the 2013 tour (Only 1 performance)...

I feel like the band hasn't completely worked this one out live. It could be a great live staple if they decided to put it back into heavy rotation and flesh it out (I have the same feelings about "Hello Again").

"Time Bomb" is definitely a song that was a bit overhyped back in 2009 and then the band exhausted the song and the entire Big Whiskey album back in 2009-2011 to the point where we were sick of it all.

But, it deserves to be brought back to life in a live setting. Thoughts?

    Big Whiskey gets worse with age and Time Bomb does absolutely not need to return.

    Cant get on board. That song gets more annoying with each listen. BW is okay and there are a few tracks I like but Time Bomb just doesn't make the cut for me.

    Time Bomb is one of those songs that I do not think will outlive it's studio performance. I wouldn't mind hearing it this year if it means their is a lot of set variation but that can be said about all DMB songs.

    I'm with it but ONLY if it's not followed by the Two Step reprise/intro. Two Step is best when the intros are they're random and I feel like Time Bomb messed up that formula.

    If I'm at a show and they play Time Bomb I can't help but think a better song could have been chosen. And then I can only hope a song like Two Step will follow.

    I'll take the L on this thread haha

    However, I do like the studio version a lot. I would like them to work on the live sound/version and really improve and explore the song a bit more... think the 2008 litho studio teaser video with all of those different sections. It's a shame how truncated this song became after those litho studio sessions in 2008.

    But, I still stand by my original post!

    Yeah I feel like that album is some of their strongest work. Don't get me wrong, I'm a diehard for anything pre 2000, but I like this side of the band too.
