Re: Live Trax Vol. 45 - 6/29/13 - Camden, NJ

On New Year's Eve morning I "pulled a stick" which Live Trax album I'm going to buy last this year. The choice fell on 45.
Then in the evening enjoyed over the stereo. In addition, the Copperpot concert on mute on the TV (maybe it wasn't quite synchronous, but the mood was definitely there. :-) )
The mix is fantastic for my taste. The band is bursting with energy. This 41 version is way up there among the best I've heard.
And the entire encore, a stunner. As seen in the video, fans can't believe the band just won't stop playing. Great Ants in Halloween (WOW) and then Pig and the infinitely long Two Step. Brilliant.

Yes! This was a killer pick. I thought Live Trax 29 was good, but this is one of the best shows from that tour. Hoping we still get a few more. The west coast run was really good.

I do appreciate that 29 and 45 offer up an enjoyable example of 2013.

I really wish they would release the night before LT 29 in Burgettstown. That was an awesome show with a pretty unique setlist and WYA opener. Will likely never happen but we can dream!

Yep! 2 fairly different shows as well. This is what Live Trax should be. I also wouldn't mind seeing a couple more from 2013 eventually. It was maybe the best tour of the last decade.
