I personally would switch Can't Stop with Black and Blue Bird, but every other ranking is identical to how I would rank it. Very well done! Cheers.

I've listened quite a few times at this point and I really have to rank them based on what I enjoy listening to most when I turn on the record.

    1. Come On Come On
    2. Do You Remember
    3. Idea of You
    4. Black & Blue Bird
    5. That Girl Is You
    6. Samurai Cop

    5. Samurai Cop

Agreed on Again and Again, but the problem with Idea of You is that the band fucked up the recording of it on the album. You'll never get a consensus on that one because "Carter plays the wrong drum pattern" or "the live intro is stupid" or "that weird skip into the second verse". I think most of us can agree it's one of the best songs on the album, but as far as ranking the studio versions of the songs, Idea of You might be in the bottom 2, in terms of production at least.

I wasnt a huge fan if Idea of you before and couldnt have told you either of those things about the song so it makes more sense now.

I do think that the studio versions of all of the songs (except for TGIY) are better than the live versions, and that’s not something I can really say about another album except for maybe Everyday. Great production quality.

All else ranges from below average to flat out awful. Zero great songs.
After seven weeks, I'll update (excluding bkdkdkdkd).

    1. Virginia in the Rain
    2. Samurai Cop
    3. Do You Remember
    4. Again & Again

    5. Here On Out
    6. Black & Bluebird

    7. Idea of You

    8. She

    9. Come On, Come On
    10. When I'm Weary

    11. That Girl Is You
    12. Can't Stop
    13. Come Tomorrow

The top six songs are the only ones I listen to semi-regularly (the top four I think are genuinely good songs that I enjoy studio and live). The bottom five songs are pretty abysmal. The bottom three are among the band's 15 worst songs.

Re: Rank the studio versions of the songs on "Come Tomorrow"

Haven’t listened to the album in a few weeks. After watching the setlists being filled with these songs I started to doubt how much I liked the album, just listened and it’s still good. 7/13 songs are great, 4/6 remaining are good, and 2 are meh for me:

    Great (to me)
    - Black & Blue Bird
    - Again & Again
    - Samurai Cop
    - Do You Remember
    - Here On Out
    - Virginia in the Rain
    - Idea Of You

    Good (to me)
    - She
    - That Girl Is You
    - Come On Come On
    - Come Tomorrow

    Just Okay (to me)
    - When I’m Weary (I love the lyrics, and his voice is great. But the piano/melody doesn’t do much for me)
    - Can’t Stop (Better than it used to be, is funky and has some good parts. Not a fan of it live, but works pretty good on the album. Overall - meh)

7/13 tracks being great after 8 weeks is pretty telling of how much I enjoy the bulk of this album

*bkdkdkdd is awesome, but I don’t count it as an actual song

The only tracks I skip every time I listen to the album are still That Girl is You, Come Tomorrow and When I'm Weary. I really can't stand any of those songs.

Rank the studio versions of the songs on "Come Tomorrow"

    1. Virginia in the Rain
    2. Come On Come On
    3. Idea of You
    4. Again and Again
    5. Black and Blue Bird
    6. Samurai Cop
    7. Can’t Stop
    8. When I’m Weary
    9. Do You Remember
    10. bkdkdkdd
    11. Here On Out
    12. Come Tomorrow
    13. She
    14. That Girl is You

and I’m proud to say that despite TGIY and She being my low point in the album, I still like them enough to avoid skipping them. TGIY is fun to sing along with haha

Songs 1-5 (excluding A&A) deserve far more live play and everything else can take a temporary chill

Finally going to give this a run:

    Virginia in the Rain
    Samurai Cop

    After two months:

    Do You Remember
    Again and Again
    Virginia in the Rain
    The Idea of You
    Samurai Cop
    Black and Blue Bird
    Come On Come On
    That Girl is You
    Can't Stop
    She
    Here On Out
    When I'm Weary
    Come Tomorrow

I still enjoy the album. I think there's 5-6 really good songs, 4-5 OK ones, and a few that just don't do much for me. And then there's the worst track, "Come Tomorrow." I don't really know what it is, but that song is just so incredibly awful on the album. I really don't mind it live, but it is just so, so painful to listen to on the album for me. Bottom 5 studio song, IMO.

Agree with Again and Again, and Virginia, studio-wise. Solid tracks.

He thinks you are crazy because you like certain songs more than he does. I wish people on here wouldn’t react like that to differing opinions. It probably keeps people from posting when they see responses like that. You kind of see that with polls. The results are much more positive than the comments. Just the way people on the internet act.
