1 week for vigorous, can probably cheat toward light cardio/tennis-ing day 5 or so if you need to be back at 1 week mark for a match or something.

about a 1-2 weeks before I could coach baseball..run, hit infield/outfield, throw batting practice...not as intense lateral movement as tennis but still

yeah def this...things can strain, tear, etc. But honestly I was back to normal physical activity in less than 2 weeks. Like I dont even remember it that much to be honest. First 2-3 days were mildly painful, and I think the rest of the "recovery" was out of an abundance of caution. Heard too many "yeah started lifting again, or did yardwork 2 days later" horror stories and just laid low

Not a doctor, but I agree with all of this.

Have had two friends think they were all good to go earlier and ended up with elephant balls, which is fun to bring up for years after, but they did NOT enjoy the experience.
