Caught Goose live for the first time last year. Now one of my favorite bands. They played a random cover of Please Forgive Me by David Gray and then proceeded to rip it up. The entire night was fantastic.

    I really really like Phish.

Lover Lay Down is an underrated song in general. It's such an honest, beautiful song. It should be a live staple. Definitely in contention for top 3 underrated songs

I remember that when it happened. This show was a fucking beast for folks in the trading community (imagine trying to hop on a cassette tree for those fucking sets). It was such a transitional period for so many things across the board, from Y2K to MP3s, and this show was an iconic part of the shift to the new millennium, yet it's interesting that the average person has no idea of its existence.

The Jam band community loves to shun DMB, but every band listed has been a very popular jam band (besides Foo Fighters). The only bands that put on a show as long, and as diverse (over the course of a 30 show tour) as DMB are jam bands.

Maybe my favorite studio cut. Leroi's playing on this has moved me to tears multiple times.

I believe the Breedlove association has more to do w/ Reverb than DMB. Or Reverb acquires/buys a decent guitar for Dave to use as a canvas, as they had a Martin Dreadnaught, Jr a few years ago.

So, full streaming a few of the dates isn’t something DMB is going to do anymore? That’s a bummer. I appreciate the couch tour group on Facebook, but the band remains fully equipped to send out their feeds w/ relative ease.

As I’ve mentioned many times, I’m good w/ paying for streamed video shows…

Going back to the covers for a moment, I know Dave and Friends did Spanish Moon a few times.

Would love to hear this iteration of DMB play it, I think it would sound awesome.

I keep forgetting how much I fucking love these two songs, and how lucky I feel to have seen both at D&T shows. I just threw on the Radio City version of Stay or Leave (I was at that show), and man is it a fucking gem.

I really like being reminded how much I like Dave's songwriting and Tim's playing.

It's not a true Blue Water without Boyd. The closest I got was some minor Boyd accompaniment Hartford 2013. It was nice though.

The REAL Blue Water has to have those twelve descending notes after Boyd's solo. That section disappeared around the time Peter left, and the song was never the same.

God yes, love the Blue Water discussion. Some of the 92-93 performances were the best in the band's history.
