They can be a bit pompous but I say U2 and Coldplay are either the same or worse. U2 is much worse. Muse can kind of be that way too.

I would say Radiohead was much worse about it between the OK Computer - Amnesiac era. Not as bad anymore.

I think their argument is that Radiohead is more consistent in their quality of work whereas DMB hit that little snag with Everyday (I actually don't mind this album but compared to the albums before it...) and Stand Up and some would say Big Whiskey (I won't). I'm not going to get in one of these discussions because the bottom line is this:

Apples to oranges. They are just way too different bands. I'd say it's like trying to say who is better Coldplay or Jay-Z. You can't really do it. It's not fair.
