If you don't have Prime you can sign up for a 30 day free trial. Knock out as many episodes as possible in that month but take advantage of their shipping options while you're doing it. It's well worth the hundred bucks a year.

I'm really going to miss this show, and for as much as I'm realizing how much I really like it in retrospect, I still don't think it cracks my top 3. It's solidly at #4.

That's not to say I don't think it's better than any of those top 3, just can't unseat them.
What are your top 3? I know two of them. Breaking Bad and Sopranos, but the third one is not coming to me.

I think you'd really like it Casey. and I guarantee you there's not a question you might have that I wouldn't be able to answer. See, plenty of answers were delivered, just some fans either didn't like what those answers were, or it required paying more closer attention to things that some wanted to give.

I am not actively avoiding it, but it’s never really been at the top of my interest list to be totally honest with you. Plus, I just started watching The Americans, so it will be a while before I get to any other shows that I watch on my schedule. And I would say there is quite a lot I have on top before I would think about LOST.

I tried Lost a few years ago and watched several episodes but couldn't get into it. Plus one of my friends who was a huge fan said, once he finished it, he was no longer recommending people watch it that's kind of how I feel about Dexter

I loved lost, a lot, but I think a lot of the magic stemmed from watching and discussing in real time. Not sure I'd recommend a retroactive binge

I streamed it all my freshman year at school in 2010. I was enthralled.

I tell people to watch through season 4 of Dexter and then to forget the fact that another 4 seasons ever happened. It's what I wish I did.

I’ve no ambition to watch Mad Men, tried starting it a couple times. Never stuck.

Then again it took like 4x to keep with The Wire.

Mad Men is right up there with The Wire. Two very different shows, but Mad Men characters have so much depth like TW. I highly suggest it.

Mad Men is awesome if you can get into an entirely character-driven show. There is not a lot in the way of plot/story as some might be accustomed to (many of the most popular shows and movies today are action/adventure/fantasy), and what changes do happen take a long time to develop. But I always thought that made the payoff so much better on MM. Definitely in my top-5 favorite shows.

so my favorite scene ever in this show is the season 4 opener where snoop goes to home depot to buy a nail gun.

    here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxBGzUhT-TM&t=92s

so the 5 "jobs" she did last month were obviously putting bodies in the vacants. by that calculation, she will kill 60 people in a calendar year.

Finished my first ever re-watch about a month ago. Never noticed David Simon is in the very last episode. Camera pans the news room after shifting back and he's in the corner on the phone with a pen in his mouth I believe.

I think I mentioned this toward the end of my first ever run thru those couple years ago, that every time when seeing the credits of "story by David Simon and Ed Burns", for some reason I always assumed that was referring to the actor/writer/director. His first film was "The Brothers McMullen", THAT Ed Burns (he was also one of the platoon members in Saving Private Ryan). wasn't until I was looking at some BTS stuff almost at the end where, yeah toooootally different guy
