    Lifelong snl fan and it’s getting to the point between guests and music and humor wise I’m not even sure what audience this is for now. can’t even get through some of these episodes.

    It's rare I manage to watch every skit before update. I'll tune back in for it, but if they can hold my attention until then I'm shocked.

    I did enjoy the Urkel sketch. Thought that was funny. But overall subpar. Seems like the first episode back from a break is always like that though.

    For me it depends on the musical guest or host. I'm an Eddie Murphy fan, so I enjoyed the Christmas show but Lizzo was an extra bonus. I watched the Taylor Swift show because I wanted to see her do the musical performance. Anytime Justin Timberlake is on, it's bound to be a funny or interesting show, so I'll tune in. But the point is, either the host or MG has to be compelling for me to hook me for the entire show.

    Maybe the only person they could get who's schedule doesn't conflict with filming schedules or SAG Award, Oscar Buzz or other movie stuff who still has a decent movie out?

    I'm sure SNL had more than one person they could get to host.

    I don't think Dafoe has hosted before. Except for the subpar writing and half the cast being unfunny, should be interesting.
